Juvenile Justice
It is estimated that 65-70% of children in the juvenile justice system have a mental heath disorder. Often times children commit criminal offenses because of their mental health impairment. It is critical that judges, probation officers, prosecutors and defense attorneys understand the nature of the child’s disability so that children can receive the help they need rather than simply being punished or placed in juvenile detention. With nearly 12 years experience in special education and 7 years in criminal justice, Jennifer Bradley has the unique expertise to assist juveniles throughout the criminal justice process so that they receive the supports and services they need and to which they are entitled.
